Exercise for Healthy Skin

We all know how exercise is great for our health, your body shape and well being. Well here's another reason to hit the treadmill. It's good for your skin too!

First of all, exercise starts off the surge of blood circulation in the body, better blood flow increases the blood cells to the skin ( that's the red face you get). These blood cells deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin, helping to repair sun damage and the build up of free radicals, and it flushes out all the daily toxins. Your skin will look brighter and healthier.

The cells that promote collagen that plumps and rejuvenates the skin, are improved by exercise. That means exercise is a great anti-ager.

Sweat isn't as yucky as you think. It helps get rid of the dirt and oils trapped in the pores. Heating up during exercise opens up the pores and the sweat flushes out the acne and blackhead causing irritants. For best results always wash the skin after exercise, face wipes come in handy for this.

Another great benefit of exercise is that you will sleep better. And we all know a better sleep means better skin repair and no dark circles.

Remember always wear 50+ Sunscreen while outdoors and keep hydrated with plenty of water.

So next time your body wants to take a day off from exercise, remember your skin will thank you...
